Waiver and Release for Food Purchases

Applies To: All purchases of food items, toppers, treats, and related edible products (“Products”).

1) Acknowledgment & Purpose

This Waiver & Release (“Agreement”) sets forth important terms related to your purchase and use of Pup Pizza Dog Bakery food products. By purchasing and/or accepting delivery of our Products, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to the terms below.

2) Key Definitions

“Customer,” “You,” or “Your”
The individual purchasing or receiving Products for a companion animal.
“Products”
All Pup Pizza Dog Bakery food items, including fresh, frozen, refrigerated, or shelf-stable goods, toppers, and treats.
“Companion Animal”
Your dog or other pet that will consume the Products.

3) Eligibility & Responsibility

  • You are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and authorized to agree to these terms.
  • You are solely responsible for selecting Products suitable for your companion animal’s age, size, health status, and dietary needs.
  • You will consult your licensed veterinarian with any questions about suitability, transitions, or adverse reactions.

4) Ingredients, Allergens & Sensitivities

  • Full ingredient lists and “best by” or “use by” dates are provided on product labels and/or product pages.
  • Our facilities may handle common allergens (e.g., wheat, dairy, eggs, fish). Cross-contact may occur.
  • If your pet has known allergies or sensitivities, review labels carefully and consult your veterinarian before feeding.
  • Discontinue use immediately and contact your veterinarian if your pet shows signs of an adverse reaction (e.g., vomiting, diarrhea, hives, swelling, lethargy).

5) Handling, Storage & Use

  • Follow all storage directions on labels (e.g., refrigeration/freezing). Do not use products past the “best by” or “use by” date.
  • Observe safe food handling practices: keep cold foods cold, wash hands, utensils, and surfaces after handling.
  • Introduce new foods gradually unless instructed otherwise by your veterinarian.
  • Discard any item that appears compromised (e.g., packaging damage, off odors, visible spoilage, thawed and warm items on arrival).

6) Shipping, Risk of Loss & Inspection

  • Title and risk pass to you upon carrier delivery confirmation at the shipping address provided.
  • Inspect packages promptly upon receipt. Photograph and report any issues within 24 hours to support@puppizzadogbakery.com with your order number.
  • Perishable items may be ineligible for return due to safety requirements; replacement or credit is at our discretion per our posted policy.
